"We were looking forward to our stay at the Hyatt Place in the Room that we reserved. We arrived about 1:00 pm and "of course" the room we reserved was not available/cleaned. We were told we could wait till 3 to see if one is available (HP Room) or change room type and check in now. We had just traveled for 26 hours, so being so tired we did not want to wait. The room we got was a king bed with what was suppose to be a sofa bed....it was not. The room was small. There was 3 people and our luggage took up a lot of space in the room. The king bed was not comfortable. Mattress too hard. The third person (17 yr old) slept on the top of sofa...it would not open out. Extremely hard.
The shuttle was good to have except the van was extremely hot. When we got picked up, the driver did not help with luggage...he instructed our grandson where to put his luggage. When we first got started the air was nice and then he turned the air basically off. Both times we rode the shuttle van, it was very hot inside.
The breakfast was good. There was a lot of variety. I believe they should offer special requests but I was told no. You only have what's being offered.
Overall, not sure if back in the area, I would choose Hyatt Place again. There are other hotels in the area that also has shuttle services."
