"My room was absolutely amazing and I had the best sleep ever during my 2 night stay .. breakfast was really delicious as was my dinner in the restaurant last night I can’t wait to stay in The Old Hall Hotel again in December I must mention that the Staff are very friendly throughout with a special mention to Victoria at Reception who personally helped me to my room and took time to assist me with booking my next reservation Thank you so much"

"Hi the drop boxes don't cover everything. At reception the member of staff that checked me in was fine, but when I said I wanted to pay cash which was my intention when booking and the reason why I did book. Another member of staff rudely interrupted and said it is card only. The website says cash is excepted. The room was in need of a deep clean and also lots of things needed to repaired. Some things possible dangerous like towel warmer really loose and some things silly. Main part of the hotel seems nice. All other staff seem fine. Every time at the bar the price was different. For the same drinks not by a lot, but should be the same. Real time dynamic drinks prices is not mentioned on website. At breakfast the was a thick layer of dust in plain site which would be so easy to clean. Which gets you thinking of kitchen area. I have taken some pictures. I have contacted the hotel and explained the the issues was offered a upgrade if I stayed in the future as a good will gesture. I contacted them and said that does not fix the issues I had. It's my opinion, but it was not value for money or good experience. The website still says excepts cash."

"This is a hotel inside a golf resort. Lovely breakfast and view overlooking the course. Room was quiet, safe and up to date with good amenities. The only thing I didn't like was them charging extra for pool towels. Those should be offered at the pool for guests of the hotel to use instead of taking one from room or being charged at such a swanky place. Bed was excellent and our sleep was very good here. Thank you!"

"Room 118 was right over the kitchen extractor and the noise was very loud and did not go off at 2200-2230 as told by Reception. Impossible to have the window open, but no air con in the room so it was stiflingly hot. Grateful for the fan provided on request, but still a poor experience. No accessible sockets near bed. Setting gorgeous, but room functionality very poor"

"Even though the hotel was clean and well maintained, I found the entrance difficult to find and also a lack of parking which required parking my vehicle at a parking garage in the city about three blocks away. At night returning from there back to the hotel, I felt uneasy as there were some shady individuals in that area."
