Lovely clean room. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Good location. Numerous good nearby breakfast/ dining places. Although it does not have it's own parking you can park for free in nearby streets.

Great stay in Buxton

Location and facilities great, as were the staff and management. Breakfast was one of the best ever. Buxton is a fabulous place, and we will go there again and stay at the Queens Head.

I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.

Great venue with live Music at the weekend

A lovely hotel which is masked by a traditional pub frontage. The rooms which are at the back of the pub in a purpose built buildings are spacious and clean. The pub has great live bands on every Friday and Saturday evenings.

Superb accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Great shower. Perfect location10 minutes stroll to town and 30 mins walk to the brewery. Best thing about this place though is the staff - amazing - really friendly, helpful and kind. Great pub serving Jaipur, which is my favourite beer. Didn't take the opportunity to enjoy the live music as we were there for rest but we would take it up next time we stay. Btw don't be put off by late night music. The rooms are very very quiet. Window open all night and no noise from the street either Thank you to everyone who made our stay incredible. And thank you to Ian for the drinks. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Buxton.

The accommodation is around the back of the pub and was very good. The pub itself was not the best in Buxton so we went elsewhere. No parking and we got a ticket for parking nearby but the hotel were great when we raised it and compensated us.

Not accessible. Property is old and there are no lifts. Inconvenient to get luggage up and down to the rooms. Parking is a nightmare around the property. Rooms are overpriced for what you get for, would recommend larger, more well-known brands instead.

Last minute booking, so not much time researching. Room was small but clean, tea and coffee making facilities. Shower was good and. Could not hear the live band that was playing, but had some noise off the street. Would have scored more but the staff were a bit rude when I asked for extra pots of milk. Good location, only on street parking.
