"Surprisingly nice waterfront and beach for a motel. Clean and well kept. Drive, stove, microwave and Keurig coffee was appreciated. Big downside was reception staff failed to inform us, upon arrival, that reservations would be better if we wanted an early dinner at the restaurant attached to the place. When we got to the dining hall (maybe 15 tables) around 5:45 they were full and we could only sit at the bar. Not ideal after a long drive day. Plus the dining manager was recovering from a cold and kept on coughing without covering his mouth and he was standing in close proximity to the bar area. A huge turn off."

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "
