"Wow! The location, the building, the light fixtures, the moldings, the staff, and that warm, unhurried Italian vibe (sprezzaturra) made this hotel a lovely experience for our family. We had rooms with views of the river, and the hills beyond, quiet and super clean, and used the pool daily. "It is 5 stars but for a non-traditional reason. It's very old school, i.e. no coffee maker, elevator that fits 2 people, one heavy metal old key that you turn in to the front desk when you leave, and need to get back when you return, small.If you are looking for a more modern presentation like a Hilton or something, then you would not like this.
