"Wow, un magnifique séjour! Tout était parfait pour nous. Le personnel, le déjeuner est extraordinaire, la chambre, la douche, la vue, la terrasse, la piscine, la tranquillité, l’emplacement…. Nous avons resté seulement 4 nuits, mais nous serions restés facilement 2 semaines. C’était même mieux que d’autres hôtels 5 étoiles que nous avons déjà faits. Nous allons assurément retourner à cet endroit à notre retour en Jamaïque."

"Everyone was extremely helpful, and the resort was filled with activities everyday. You don’t have to leave the resort to enjoy yourself. They also allow you to reserve tables at their restaurants in the app. If by any chance you want to leave the resort for activities, you can sign up for excursions, snorkeling, scuba diving, and much more. I definitely had a great time!"

"Overall, we had a great time staying at iberostar. I'd definitely come back to this hotel the next time I visit Jamaica. Pros: 1. Amazing food!!! The food really exceeded our expectations. We tried different cuisines and we loved most of the things that we ate. There were a few items that we weren't a big fan of, but overall, I'd say it was a very positive experience. 2. Super friendly staff - we were just blown away by the staff that worked at the resort. They are so friendly, polite and very helpful and were very playful with my 17 month old daughter. 3. Rooms are clean and spacious. Cons: 1. Guests cannot visit past 6 pm! This rule caught me off guard. I had some local friends that visited me at 9 pm and they were refused entry. I had to step outside the resort and go to a local bar to meet my friends. 2. AC temp not going below 19.5°C. If you want the room to be colder, it's not going to be possible. I also noticed other sections of the resort that didn't have AC throughout the day. 3. After checking in, they would send you to the concierge. The concierge will give you some hotel credits in exchange for a timeshare presentation. You are not obligated to take that. Be polite but firm and tell them that you're not interested. Things to know: 1. They do not have plastic or paper straws(you will need to bring your own) 2. They do not let you pack your food to take it back to the room. Whatever u order at any restaurant will have to be eaten there."
Hotel Grand A View

"Our second stay at Hotel Grand A View was just as wonderful as the first, and we were so happy to return! The accommodations were excellent, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were always clean, beautiful, and well maintained. Most of the staff provided exceptional service—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. While we did encounter a couple of staff members who seemed less welcoming, they were greatly outnumbered by the many kind and attentive employees who made our stay truly enjoyable. One of the highlights of this trip was being able to bring my mother-in-law, who uses a wheelchair. We were so pleased that the hotel was accommodating and helped make her stay comfortable. One suggestion that could make an already great experience even better would be to install additional grab bars in the bathrooms. This simple improvement would provide greater safety and independence for guests with mobility challenges. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I already know exactly where I'll be staying the next time I visit Montego Bay—Hotel Grand A View, without a doubt! Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation such a memorable and enjoyable experience. We look forward to returning!"

"Loved the main pool, the lap pool by our room was dirty and not ready for use. The beach was great. Food was really good but very expensive and so were the drinks. Check-in process was very lengthy and our room was delayed by over 1.5 hours. The lock to our room malfunctioned and we were locked out of our room for hours after the delayed check in which made for a very tough first day. The hotel emailed me before my trip to arrange for transportation and to see if we were celebrating any events. I made arrangements for a shared shuttle and told them my wife and I were celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary. Both requests were ignored, I had to follow up several times to make sure we had transportation and when the bill came it was for a private care taking the expense from 80 to 300 dollars, which they fixed. On the way out, a nice front desk person handed us two plastic cups for forgetting our wedding anniversary. We expected better from Half Moon, very disappointed with certain aspects of our trip. Great people working at this resort just poor management and horrible attention to detail"
