"Exceeded Expectations — Excellent Location for Visiting Montreal
The Sandman Hotel Montréal-Longueuil exceeded our expectations. It is not directly in downtown Montreal, but that is actually part of its appeal. The Metro is only a few steps away, making it an excellent base for trips into downtown Montreal and other parts of the city without the trouble of driving and parking.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and free of unpleasant odours, which is always one of the first things I notice. Our room was quiet overall, apart from some children making noise for a short time, but it did not last long and did not affect the stay.
The staff were excellent throughout: friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant staff also stood out for being pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was acceptable if you are in a hurry, though not something I would choose as a leisurely meal.
The location is the real strength here. With the Metro so close, the hotel works very well for sightseeing, business travel, or anyone wanting convenient access to Montreal without staying right downtown. Overall, this was a practical, clean and well-run hotel, and I would highly recommend it."
