The room was spotless and spacious. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The desk was very attentive—we needed a walk-in shower and our first room didn’t have one. They moved us within minutes. Great location—walking distance to the Macroplaza and museums. It’s an old, elegant hotel in the center of the Barrio Antiguo. I’ll happily go back.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel lobby was beautiful, like in an old movie. The staff was very friendly. Spend most of the time in the pool since it was very hot in Monterrey. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is great walking distance to downtown macro plaza and barrio antiguo. The hotel is a landmark and the staff does a great job on keeping it clean and top notch. What I didn’t like had nothing to do with the Hotel the surrounding areas were filthy specially the downtown needs attention but guess that’s the City’s job.

Its just ok

Pros: Location was great. Breakfast was $90 USD for 4 adults but was delicious. We had two connecting rooms are grateful for a little bit of an early check-in. Parking was included with our stay. Cons: The hotel is old and it used to be kept up to date and beautiful but this visit (4 years later) has me reconsidering it for the next trip. In one room we had glitter still all over the carpet and a hole in it. The other room had no towels at check in. They provide gel body soap but no washcloths to shower. We requested an extra towel and instead of leaving one in the room that already had towels, they took them all and did not replace them AND they attempted to empty our bathroom trash but forgot the bag and left it on the sink right next to our toothbrushes. Also, the white towels are not white and also need updating. Valet takes a very long time as parking is not at the hotel but 1.5 blocks away (as we were told) As someone who travels a lot, charge a little more but replace the carpet, shower head and towels! We were supposed to receive a free drink and a complimentary upgrade but it was never given to us. Upgrades were available to “club” for a fee so your status did not matter here. Also be ready to walk cause you get the furthest from the elevator room. Last, they have sales people pushing their loyalty program if you want a free lunch/ breakfast to listen to them try to sell it to you. If you want directions somewhere you will get chased on your way back in.

Hotel is nice friendly people, but you guys need to really fix the elevator. Elevator was the only big issue for me and for everyone that stayed at that hotel please fix it. You guys have a lot of people and only one elevator works.
