Older place but very clean, quiet and easy to get to (one block off highway). Staff were helpful and very friendly Beds were comfortable. Grab and go breakfast could have offered more. Very good price. Will stay again.

Our 2nd stay at Americas Best Value Inn in Big Lake! Best staff/owner ever! We travel weekly with our son’s band and have stayed in hundreds of locations all over the Midwest. This property is so well staffed and maintained beautifully not to mention the kind hospitality and welcome from the owner who went above and beyond to make our family comfortable during our stay. I’m hoping that the band will book more shows in the area so we can return soon‼️ Highly recommend this property for travelers!

The owners are outstanding with their hospitality and helping you find things. The lobby was decorated very nice, the continental breakfast was good, coffee was delicious. It was unbelievably quiet considering that they were full Friday and Saturday. It is a hotel I would return to. Another plus are the two restaurants on either side that are really good!!! Old Main Eatery in Elk River is a short drive and really good food.

We stayed in one bedroom suite with one king and 2 queens. 2 adults, 4 teenagers, and 1 small child. The room was VERY SPACIOUS and accommodating. Everyday cleanliness was great (clean floors, bedding, towels, ect). Price was very affordable! Staff was friendly. Property could use some TLC from a maintenance perspective! I would stay here again though! No doubt.

The staff at the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. They kept the breakfast bar open past closing to accommodate our schedules, went out of the way to locate a tool I need to repair a personal item, and quickly provided extra towels upon request.

The staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful!! Whenever we are in the area we will be staying there😊 The room was perfect and had all we needed and more. If I have to say a negative, the only thing is the carpet has some stains, but how are you to avoid that?!! We loved this hotel!!
