Basic, but great base for a Paris-visit

Cheap and basic, but clean, functional, and in a great location for trips to Paris, Versailles, or the surroundings. Great service and free parking outside. If you arrive late, the reception of the neighbouring Ibis Red-hotel are very helpful.

Budget hotel, so room was a bit spartan with not a lot of storage space, but kept very clean. Pleasant staff. Nice continental-style breakfast which included fruit salad and yoghurt as well as the usual french bread, croissants, cereal, ham, cheese etc. Pleasant location near a large lake, which has footpaths that (I think) allow you to walk or cycle all around it. Near a main road, so can be noisy if windows open. If using public transport there is a RER station less than 15 minutes walk away with commuter trains to the centre of Paris (lines C, N and U) that take about 35-45 minutes. I found this hotel to be quite cheap and convenient for visiting Paris as a tourist, and would probably stay here again.

In deze accomodatie geslapen om in de buurt van Versailles te slapen. Parking was zeer gemakkelijk en betaalbaar (in weekends 5€ voor een nacht te verblijven). Ontbijt is ook zeker oké. Jammere van ons bezoek was dat de vorige gast had gerookt in de kamer en dit de hotelbedienden niet was opgevallen.
