"The location was amazing! I had read reviews that the Ubers or cabs would not take you all the way up to Montmartre and that we would need to climb the many stairs to reach the apartment self . That was not true. We never had issues getting Ubers to drop us off but did have a tough time getting picked up early Sunday am to head to the train station. We are an active family and walked everywhere from this location or took a train. The number of stairs to get to this area easily 180 steep steps are no joke. Love the location super active, lots of places to eat, get ice cream, live entertainers, tourist shops, artists lined up to do portraits. The ability to overlook the entire city from the church steps and watch the sunset was incredible. We stayed in The Van Gough apartment which was adorable!!!! My daughter stayed in the family room pull out couch. Not a lot of space if you have a lot of luggage but so cozy and we loved the 1/2 bathroom was in another area from the shower/ sink in the master bathroom. The apartment had awesome shampoos and body washes . Bed was comfortable. One bummer, we really needed to do wash but the washing machine was broken. I contacted the host and she sent someone and it was an electrical issues. Also the kitchen needed a few extra dish towels. No elevator so you carry bags up steep stairs on the top floor. Keyless entry was great! Highly recommend this apartment!"
