"The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, and the staff was kind. The bed was comfortable, but the building is in serious disrepair: curtains hanging off the rails, broken ceiling panels, peeling paint, loose bathroom tiles, and heavily worn carpets in the hallways. It feels like no maintenance has been done in years, which really overshadows the positives. "

"Amazing receptionist who stayed open late for us to check in after the train sabotage around Paris. Super helpful staff and a comfy, well equipped apartment - perfect for the family. Easy to access public transport and quiet, safe area close to all the main transport hubs and the Olympics."

"Total convenience available: Bakery across the street plus an ice cream/ gelato shop. Around the corner a convenience store and 2 blocks south a major shopping mall with movie theater and a diverse food court atop. Also 2 tram lines (1 to SNFC train & airport and a Westfield Mall / Gallery Lafayette ( also has a food court and famous brand names. Lyon does have UBER, no LYFT ... suggest not to use BOLT!! Great outdoor food market at metro Croix-Russe. I prefer to utilize the public transportation because you can view Lyon better."

"The room was very spacious and had excellent air conditioning. The shower was appropriate sized (vs those tiny tube sized showers in most of Europe). We did not hear others around us and slept well. We took advantage of the valet parking and truly appreciated that. We were able to easily walk and venture into Lyon from the location and felt very safe in our surroundings. The pillows were incredibly flat so I recommend asking for more. Easy fix"
