"It was a great location for us as it was a short walk to the Caserta Reggia Palace. We had a wonderful day walking through the Palace. We then caught a bus to the top of the gardens and walked back down. Unfortunately the statues around the fountains were under renovation but it was still a good view."

"Struttura costituita da un antico palazzo sita a Puccianiello frazione di Caserta. Siamo stati accolti dal personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo alloggiato nella mansarda molto spaziosa e pulita. Colazione ottima con prodotti fatti in casa come marmellata, crostate e torte. Ottima posizione per visitare luoghi e siti di interesse nei dintorni di Caserta. Sicuramente ci ritorneremmo. Consigliatissimo."

"The hotel is in a great location overlooking a green piazza. The cleaning staff do an excellent job and the room was spotless. Rooms are airy and spacious if a little dated. Our experience was marred by one rude member of staff. Rather than trying to help and respond to the most reasonable requests she made us feel as if we were bothering her. Everything was just too much trouble. We visit Caserta regulalry and stay and the Cavilieri. This time was the last. Such a shame for one person to let...

"Easy check-in and nicely appointed room, the bed was cozy and the shower was nice and hot. I didn't opt for breakfast but would probably recommend it, not too many places open in the morning around there, but plenty of bars and restaurants in the evening. Staff was super welcoming and gave me a glass of prosecco and potato chips on arrival, and speaking English was no problem for the staff I interacted with. Highly recommended!"

"the location was excellent. I walked to the train station, Reggia di Caserta, restaurants, and other places of interest. Friendly and helpful staff. my late check-in was an issue, however everything worked out. I have a low tolerance for chemicals found in some scented products, like perfumes, and colognes resulting in coughing and other discomforts. Perhaps staff could be considerate of this for future guests. I love the daily breakfast of cappuccino and cornette :)"

"I stayed at B&B il girasole in Maddaloni, Italy for a week in May and I must say, everything was perfect. The location was a perfect location and just a 15 minute drive to the Royal Palace of Caserta. Great restaurants, coffee shops and markets within walking distance made it even more enjoyable. The rooms were very clean, the room price was very good and it was in quiet location. Il Girasole had a beautiful flower garden in a secure gated environment. "Katia was very helpful in recommending local places to visit, including the Amphitheatre of Capua which is one of the coolest places to visit and so quiet compared to other sites in Italy. The room itself was lovely, had an amazing recreated fresco on the ceiling, with a much needed A/C that kept the room perfectly cool. We had a breakfast basket and some great coffee in the room itself, and it's located on a quiet street so little to no noise disturbance. We had a very lovely time, thank you...
