"We had a nice partial view of the ocean. The hotel was located close to restaurants and stores. Our room didn't have AC, but did have a Ceiling Fan across the room. "

"After staying at a couple of budget motels on our trip, the Catalina Canyon Inn felt like a resort. Our room was nice and big and clean. The lobby has a good assortment of snacks and there's a restaurant, but there is no free breakfast. There is a pool and no hot tub. It is quiet at night. Here's the only caveat: the inn is located at the top of a hill. It's about a 15-minute walk from downtown. *I don't recommend attempting to walk there with your luggage from the ferry.* They run shuttles (aka minivans) to the ferry terminal and downtown; they sit 5 people. You can also hail a taxi if the shuttle is full. BUT if it's a hot day and the taxis and shuttles are busy, you're probably gonna have to sit and wait for a while."

"Everything was good just wish they cleaned the AC. Looked like it was very dirty and the shower curtains needed to be replaced, it made the shower smell like dirty water. But everything else was great "

"So the room itself was nice but they should really up staff for the golf carts I had an infant and it took them awhile to come get us as there was a lot of guests staying there but if you’re that busy then maybe up staff… also this hotel is at the top of the mountain so it’s not as easy to get to town if you have small children "

"Breakfast minimal. Attendant let coffee runout didn't have back up took at least 20minutes to refill pot and also let food run out. Poor attitude. All other personnel good. motion detector on toilet room light kept going on ,not needed especially in middle of the night. Very nice room, good size"

"I highly recommend this hotel. Its in the center of everything. There's a outdoor lounge/seating area that overlooks the harbor,beach area, and is walking distance to alot of stores and restaurants. "
