"We stayed here because all the Jackson Hole places were booked. It was a good hour and a half drive from there for our two days in Jackson, but the scenic drive up the mountain made it fun...it's a ski resort and we were travelling at the end of the summer season."

"This property is perfectly situated for exploring Yellowstone, which is why we chose it, and why we would stay there again. As of our trip, the property could certainly use an update. The quaintness does add somewhat to the overall charm, but room amenities could be upgraded (larger shower would be very much appreciated, as would a microwave in the rooms since the two restaurants were only so-so). But being able to be at West Thumb to watch the sun rise in only 7 minutes from our room was fantastic, and we loved getting a jump on the other attractions without having to slog through the incoming park traffic."

"It was a pretty hotel by the side of the road; all rustic and log structure which was lovely. There is absolutely no food included and the price was very steep: about $350 a night which only included the room (there was a coffee maker however). There is am onsite restaurant which was also rustic and lovely though with steep prices-- but anything driving distance had same prices. There is an on-site gas station"

"Loved this stay! We stayed in a cabin right by the hotel and it was perfect! We loved sitting outside to stargaze. You will get a notification when dinner reservations can be made - make sure to do so! We made a reservation as soon as it was available but overheard some panicked visitors around dinner time who weren’t sure how to get table and were having to ask the front desk for last minute options. The food was exactly what we expected compared to other national park lodge dining options. The lake is beautiful and it set us up for a perfect starting point to hit West Thumb, Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic areas before heading to Grand Teton at midday. From the hotel I do recommend going to Hayden Valley for sunset. We found a great spot with a view of the valley and (safety distanced) bison."

"Beautiful view from the rooms. Right on the water with beautiful Teton views. The rooms are very large with a full kitchen, which was so perfect. Also ate at the restaurant, for breakfast and dinners which was very very good."
Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park

"Really nice log cabin style accommodation. Quite small but cosy. We stayed during the summer which was nice, however, winter would be great as there are lots of blankets and the rooms have radiators."
