"The property was dated, the front door didn't close, there was construction, and there is a pool but no water. Staff never cleaned our room. Luckily all I needed was a bed for the night. Didn't go for amenities. They do have a decent breakfast available. "

"At 11:00 PM we were startled awake by what sounded like a jackhammer right next to us. The maintenance room shared a wall with our room and I found a man in there working on some kind of cabling. This frightenting noise continued on till about 12:15 PM. AC quit working. Carpet was soaked by the desk area. At 11:30 PM I attempted to get these issues resolved with the staff. "We checked in and on the way to our 1st floor room saw the exterior door wide open for anyone to come in. We entered our room to a terrible smell. The window lock was broken so it could be opened from inside or outside. We changed rooms and the next room had a big smash in the door reminding me of The Shining movie. "This was the most kid-friendly hotel we've ever stayed at. They had a kid's playroom in the lobby and even had kids' cups with lids and bendy straws at breakfast. Obviously they've made an effort to be welcoming to families and to make the stay as comfortable as possible for us."
