This property is a secluded oasis. If you want a relaxing stay to discount, this is the perfect stay. The villas were very lovely, the staff were wonderful and the food at the restaurant was flavorful. This was a solo birthday trip as a foreigner and they did an amazing job at accommodating my needs. I highly recommend!

Incredible boutique hotel! The food was the best we had in Bahia and the beach is super quiet and isolated, ideal to what we wanted. The pool in the middle of the jungle is beautiful and we stayed there watching the monkeys playing on the trees. The Vila we stayed was beachfront and had a nice private pool and I would stay there many other nights if I could.

Our stay at Vila dos Orixás in Morro de São Paulo was absolutely amazing! The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and made us feel like royalty during our time there. Their warm hospitality and excellent service truly enhanced our experience. The food at the hotel was outstanding, with a fantastic blend of local flavors that we thoroughly enjoyed. Each meal was a culinary delight, and we looked forward to dining at the hotel every day. While we had a fantastic stay overall, the only downside was the air conditioning not working properly in our room. It was a bit uncomfortable at times, especially during the warm nights. Additionally, dealing with mosquitoes due to the mangrove floret was a bit challenging, especially knowing that the government restrictions prevented the hotel from addressing the issue. Despite these minor inconveniences, our time at Vila dos Orixás was truly special. The beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and delicious food made our stay unforgettable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in Morro de São Paulo.

While I understand the hotel’s policies, my experience as a solo traveler was quite difficult due to a major lack of communication. The staff does not speak English, which left me feeling isolated—especially considering the amount I spent to stay here. No one greeted me upon arrival, no one said good morning or hello during my stay, and overall, the hospitality felt lacking because of the language barrier. While I don’t speak Portuguese fluently, being the only guest in my section of the hotel with no one making an effort to communicate was quite sad. A major issue occurred right before my departure when the hotel, without my permission or any communication, placed my belongings in a shuttle and sent them away. As a result, I had to wait 30 minutes to retrieve them. This level of miscommunication made an already isolating experience even more frustrating. Additionally, while the hotel does offer shuttle options, if you don’t speak Portuguese, you’ll likely miss the entire introduction to the hotel upon arrival, leaving you confused about many aspects of your stay. The island itself is very remote, and while that can be a beautiful experience, I would not recommend staying here alone as an American unless you are fluent in Portuguese. That said, the food was amazing, and the staff was kind despite the challenges in communication. If you do decide to visit, be sure to bring lots and lots of mosquito repellent.

Equipe muito boa, alto astral e muito solícitos. Quarto grande, cama confortável. Cozinha do hotel muito boa. A manutenção do hotel poderia ser melhor, quarto com parede infiltrada e jardinagem estava largada. Uma rebocada na academia também faria a diferença. O hotel fica em um lugar lindo mas isolado, ou seja, não temos fácil acesso a um mercado por exemplo, e pagar 7,50 em cada garrafinha de água achei exagerado.

Simplesmente maravilhoso!

O Hotel fica em uma praia super reservada, sem nenhum movimento, em um lugar maravilhoso! A estrutura do hotel é ótima. Tudo de muito bom gosto e conforto, os funcionários foram todos muito receptivos e bons no que fazem. A comida/bebida do restaurante é de fato muito boa. O café da manhã é excelente também. O hotel é ideal para quem quer ficar em um lugar "isolado", sem movimento, tipo um mini pedaço de paraíso. Observações: Não gostei muito da localização da piscina porque ela fica um pouco longe da praia, em uma outra área do Hotel mais pra dentro. O que faz com que não seja possível ter aquela "integração" praia + piscina, como normalmente acontece em muitos hotéis onde a piscina fica relativamente perto da praia, restaurante, etc. Uma coisa que desagradou foi o fato do hotel cobrar rolha para bebidas que sejam tomadas na praia, se forem tomadas usando as "cadeiras e bangalôs" do hotel. Principalmente a "taxa de entrega" de comida no quarto. Se você pedir comida no quarto, é cobrada uma taxa de 12 reais. Obviamente 12 reais não é um problema pra quem se hospeda nesse hotel, mas é quase que um absurdo cobrar esse tipo de taxa, dentro de um hotel com diárias consideráveis e hóspedes que ficam dias consumindo e gastando ali no hotel. É um valor de fato irrisório e que não deveria fazer parte de uma taxa extra (obs: eu nunca peço comida no quarto mas me senti afetado só de quer que ler essa observação no check-in)

Segunda vez no hotel, mas dessa vez não gostei. Primeiramente, no dia que cheguei em Morro de SP descobri que só tem transfer a cada 2 horas para levar-nos da segunda praia até o hotel. Esta informação não estava disponível no site e o hotel não nos informou quando entraram em contato previamente. Fiquei no maior bangalô em frente à praia, que não foi barato, e várias chateações; a hidro do quarto estava quebrada (os técnicos precisaram vir consertar durante nossa estadia). Durante esse conserto, retornou um óleo pelas tubulações que foi despejado na piscina, durante uma manhã que era para ser de paz e sossego. Baratas no quarto me deixou chocado. Enfim, não gostei dessa vez, inclusive após o café da manhã do último dia, antecipei meu retorno para casa (por sinal meu aniversário). Mas não vou deixar de elogiar o serviço dos funcionários, sempre muito gentis e solicitos, além da comida maravilhosa do chef Ulle.
