"Whilst you could say the room was clean, it was in poor state of repair with flaking paint and shabby. The bathroom was in a very poor state with a large area of black mold above the window and around the bath. The bath edges were rusty as was around the bath drain. The sink unit was extremely shabby with swollen surfaces where water had soaked the MDF timber. The bathroom smelt badly and, on the whole, was unacceptable. "Stayed at Elba Sara for 5 nights, from the arrival the staff were excellent. The hotel was lovely, room large, clean, and we had the treat of a sea view. We ate in the restaurant every day, and there was so much choice of food. Last year we stayed nearer the harbour, but loved our stay here. Thankyou"

"The rooms were old and tired, in need of renovation, however they were spotlessly clean. Our balcony overlooked the courtyard area tjough, and there were apartments directly facing us, which made it awkward to sit out if those opposite were in use. Staff on site were all extremely helpful and friendly. The pool and bar areas were well-maintained and clean. "

"Staff were busy but helpful. Clean hotel but a little dated. We had the buffet 1 night and would not recommend the food. Entertainment the night we went was non existent. Pool area was always busy and a sun trap! We went self catering and were happy with the location (4min drive to Caletta de Fuste). "
