"Very clean facility and excellent staff!"

"We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was amazing! Great choice, fresh and generous portions. A couple of days we had early departures and George arrange for a takeaway breakfast option for us. I also needed laundry and George helped make it happen while we were out enjoying Crete! Important to note that the apartments...

"This hotel was lovely. Our room had a deck facing right onto the harbor of the Venetian old town and it was gorgeous. The breakfast that was served to our rooms daily as part of the daily rate was delicious. It was right in the heart of everything so amazing restaurants and shops were right out the door. The downside to that is it was loud at night with the bars below but it didn't keep us up after the long busy days. Also there are no cars in the old town so if you plan to rent a car, prepare...

"This place is excellent. The only minor quibbles would be the standard ones these days, namely the bathroom has a glass door which sounded like it was going to break any second, and the bathroom wall is also opaque so that privacy is not exactly 100% and also if you need to visit the bathroom at night, you wake up people trying to sleep. Also the bathroom door was not exactly insulated, so you get to enjoy the sounds emanating from the bathroom. Otherwise an excellent hotel. "
