We initially felt unsafe here . This was probably not a fair assessment- it was based on how we felt that day . We did leave the hotel to stay somewhere else as I was feeling anxious. It’s a family run business and the staff is lovely. The room was clean with a well equipped kitchenette. 1 min walk to beach and 10 mins walk to restaurants. Lovely

Loved the apartment, especially the sun lounge area with huge sliding doors that open out to the sea. Comfortable beds. Mossel Bay is interesting in South Africa because it seems to have a good racial mix. At restaurants you have white people serving and black people eating. It is like London. The Bartholemu Dias museum is very good. Bit of history.
The beach was lovely however, we only spent a single night so couldn't explore as much as we'd have liked to
