"This was was the final stop in a cross-country road trip for me and my sister, and we had no idea how swanky it was until we drove up! We got a great deal, and were super happy with the place for the most part.
Our room was beautiful, on the 15th floor with views of the Red Rock National Conservation Area. Dinner at Hearthstone was amazing, with great service. Breakfast at the Lucky Penny was . . . interesting: The person who seated us, who ended up being our server, was gruff, and didn't seem happy. The person who brought water, tea & coffee brought the wrong tea bag, and it took quite a while to get the attention of one of them to ask for the correct one, which it turns out they were out of - English Breakfast tea. Even the food wasn't that great, and service was so-so. It just felt like no one working there was happy.
On check out, the bellman who came was REALLY helpful, even going so far as to suggest using the laundry bag for ice, and showing us where the machine was on our floor. He waited for us to get as much as we needed, brought it downstairs and waited for us to switch it to the small zip bags we had been using for our small cooler, as well as our water bottles. We only wish we had his name!
All in all, this was a great experience and I hope my husband and I will stay there at some point in the not-too-distant future."
