Khách sạn Núi Cook

"Worst place we’ve ever stayed in New Zealand. It’s a cheap accommodation overall. In room 303, the heater didn’t work, the oven was broken, and the view was literally nothing. They provided cheap instant coffee, cheap utensils, a cheap mattress, and cheap pillows. The place is also isolated, with nothing around. I would not recommend it. We let Eddy, the manager, know about all the issues. The only “compensation” offered was a ticket to the theatre — a boring, cheap 30-minute video that they...

"Great views from our room and also from communal kitchen area and the patio is great. Rooms are nice and well equipped. Parking is limited in front and first in first serve so may have to park in designated areas not to further away. Very much enjoyed our 1 night stay."

"Pro: Kind/friendly/helpful manager. Perfect wifi. Great location. Con: Room was a bit tight."

"Wonderful property very unique"

"The hotel was nice with many dining options within walking distance. The rooms provided good heating and was a comfortable stay."

"For a 340nzd/night hotel, totally unacceptable. While the reception staff was friendly and helpful, the condition of the room preparation and facility was shockingly bad. * No Shampoo in the room * The casing of the air conditioner is open, exposing internal compartments and components. It appears someone might be fixing or cleaning it, but the job is unfinished and it was left open. * The room's air conditioner was incredibly loud and made a constant, rapid ticking noise while running. When I...

"Great experience overall and amazingly helpful and friendly staff"

"The accommodation was in a convenient location and it was quite clean. Beds were comfortable. We did have issues with the television and there was no soap provided in our room. The heat lamps and the fans in our bathroom did not work. However the shower pressure and temperature were great!"

"Very much enjoyed our stay here. The room was fabulous with a great view of the countryside. The faux fireplace was a nice touch in the room. It’s a bit outside the township however a couple of restaurants offer a pick up and drop off courtesy bus. Wayne at reception was very helpful with information about the surrounding area. Would stay again!"

"Had everything we needed, clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff"

"Friendly team, good amenities & centre of town. Communal lounge & kitchen is well equipped. All in all a good stay at a good price."

"The room was clean and well-kept. Lots of space, and nice bathroom. Check-in was very easy, and the staff was very helpful in answering our questions. Great option if staying in the Franz Josef area."

"Lovely stay in the Rainforest motel. Andy is a great host who made us feel very welcome. We sadly, were only there for one night, as we were passing through on our way to Queenstown, however if we are lucky enough to return to NZ we would definitely stay here for a few nights. The property is comfortable, clean and the unit we had was updated and had a great new bathroom / wet room. The whole motel complex has such a relaxed feel about it and we have no doubt recommending it as a great place to...

"Thoughtfully designed deluxe tree hut which would rival some 5-star hotels. We had a lovely stay among the trees & birdsong in the morning. Short walk to all local amenities. We’ll be back!"

"Nice place"

"Très propre. Très confortable. Le foyer est un plus très agréable"

"Great place to stay will come back again."
