"I always love staying at the Pasadena Rose & Crown Hotel when I'm visiting my parents. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are super-comfortable, and the showers are excellent. Rooms include a nice big screen TV with plenty of channels. Breakfast is fairly standard with hot and cold offerings. There's a laundry facility on site (need to pay) and parking is free. The hotel is close to Caltech, the Huntington Library, and Old Town Pasadena. Located along Colorado Blvd (part of the historic Route 66), it's easy to walk from the hotel to nearby shops and restaurants. Overall, the Pasadena Rose & Crown Hotel is an pleasant oasis in the heart of Pasadena! I highly recommend it. "

"The breakfast was à la carte and included two cold items and a drink or one hot item and a drink. We didn’t know this the first day and got one of hot and cold item each. However the hotel staff were very kind and did not charge us for the extra breakfast. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was excellent. "

"The room was DISGUSTING to say the least. The glass window in the bathroom was broken. The microwave had black stuff on the inside. The refrigerator and freezer doors stuck to one another with a mystery sticky substance. The air conditioning unit looked like it was ready to fall apart. One towel for a room booked for two people. The whole hotel was completely dated. It seriously felt like a bait and switch. I booked it because it was a Wyndham property and it felt cheaper than a Motel 6 or Super 8. If you're looking for a place to stay, don't stay here."

"When traveling to Pasadena, this looked like the perfect hotel to stay in, and it certainly was! The room was excellent. The shower was my favorite part, the design of the bathroom and room made it feel so spacious and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay, and made the check in/out process so smooth. The pool and gym are on the third floor, so the views of Pasadena and the nearby mountains were so pretty! Truly a beautiful place to visit. The restaurant/bar service at the pool was excellent, and if you like coffee, you’ll love the breakfast/coffee shop adjacent to the lobby. From parking, to cleanliness, to friendly staff this hotel checks every box! And it’s in a perfect location to walk around and see Pasadena!"
