"We had the 3 bedrooms family apartment and loved it. We have stayed here before. There is a lovely deck to sit out on in the mornings and have breakfast. The kids love the pool, basketball court and tennis court. The location is great because you can walk to the Hunter Valley Gardens in about 20 minutes or drive in 5 minutes. "Great modern property and location was the best we have experienced in the Hunter to date. Would have been 5 starts all round, except upon arrival we had a drainage issue in one of the bathrooms (which happens), and the smell was horrible. The issue for me was, there was no urgency for the staff to fix it and it took too long for someone to come out. "Good stay in all regards. Middle of the Hunter valley wineries, has lots of things to do inside the resort as well as around the valley. Good family and children activities. Very good golf course. Unfortunately the bed was well under par which was a shame."
