"The Columbia Gorge Hotel is very special because of the building itself and the spectacular location overlooking the Columbia Gorge. The grounds are amazing - reflective of the northwest esthetic, gardens, trees, and a creek leading to a spectacular waterfall. The building is beautiful, well preserved, honoring the time period from which it originated, but still maintained in good order. Very clean and comfortable in every way."

"No breakfast available except next door after 7, rooms have no sound barriers so you hear all the other people, get a river view room. "

"First time in the River Hood area, we enjoyed our stay at the Villas, right off the freeway very convenient and close to town. The staff was friendly and very courteous, definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area."

"Hotel and staff were great, only issue is no fault of the hotel, but there is a lot of noise and light coming from the large gas stations across the street right off a major highway. But not a big deal, my room and bathroom were perfectly clean and that is most important. I would stay again."
