The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to a very popular photography spot in Gion. Because of this, expect some noises as there are always photographers outside around the clock. Washer dryer is really convenient. The rooms are very well maintained. Short walk to many stores and shops in Gion. "

"This Kyoto hostel completely overturned my impression of local accommodations being typically cramped. Very clean and comfortable. High-quality beddings. The living room was surprisingly spacious—easily accommodating our big group with over ten large suitcases! Located near Fushimi Inari Shrine and Tofukuji Temple, it was very peaceful at night. We had brought thick bedding, worried that Kyoto might be cold, but the rooms were extremely comfortable. "Perfect for families. Very toddler-friendly and the whole apartment/building was clean and well-designed. We especially loved having the in-unit laundry especially before heading out to our next destination!"

"Great spot to stay at if you are driving all over Kyoto. They have their own parking spots. The place was really spacious and offered free bikes to use around town. They even have a washer and dryer. I’ll definitely come back!"

"The house was great and in perfect condition.
Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful.
Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it.

"It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."

"Our family really enjoyed the amenities at this hotel and the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean but appears somewhat outdated. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend."
"Very nice hotel near the Kyoto train station. The staff were very helpful before and during our stay. The bed was king size and very comfortable. We took advantage of the onsen and it was enjoyable."
"This is a nice hotel literally across the street from Kyoto Station, which made commuting to the sites relatively easy. I fell in love with the sweet housekeeping staff on the 7th floor who treated my simple morning request for extra coffee as if it came from royalty. I’ll never forget the moment when these six smiling ladies formed a semi-circle around me, all making sure that I had everything I needed. A truly unexpected Kyoto memory…"
"The rooms were small compared to “American expectations” but they had everything. They made well use of every inch. I appreciated the toilet being detached from the shower, it made things quicker for me. The breakfast was delicious, a lot of choices. I wish the coffee was hotter, but that’s just my personal preference. The washer and dryer were handy. The 100 Yen coin for use was a bit challenging because I had to collect them for day to be able to use them? Again, that’s just me. The whole area is busy and nice."
