"This hotel provided our family of four with a a great stay. The family apartment was reasonably priced and very large. The hotel is a 2minute walk from the main train station. There are buses that will take you to all the main sights leaving regularly from the station. There is a large shopping centre at the station and everything you need within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend this property for families. "

It’s in a great location with good food spots, great views, and easy access to local attractions and transportation. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was nice. "Yet another amazing stay at Mimaru for us! We’ve always used this chain of apartment hotel every time we go to Japan as they’ve all been excellent to stay and this Kyoto was no different! The property is more like a hotel but still has kitchen and dining table for the family room we stayed which was nice. Area around is super quiet and supermarket right next door at 30 seconds walk! Relatively close to Kyoto station to walk but bus and uber is quicker. Close to main shopping street also which...

"I mean wow! What can I say about this wonderful gem of a boutique property. Super cool retro-modern interior, great layout, textures, lighting, and furnishings. 5-star accommodations, for a 3-star price, excellent value. You also have in suite laundry machine, and well equipped kitchenette, good size fridge/ freezer. I hope this starts a trend of refurbished properties done right for todays sophisticated family traveler. Location isn't bad either, lol!"
