"This hotel was very convenient as I needed to stay the night in Mettupalaiyam after arriving by the toy train that early evening. It's a walkable 5-10 minute distance from the train station, with eat-in or take-out restaurants nearby, and a supermarket across the street. The room lacked finishing touches like colourful cushions as shown in the lobby photo which left a very austere atmosphere in the room. It was comfortable enough. It’s built on a steep hillside so be prepared to have a good workout for the thighs coming and going to the restaurant and reception areas if you wish to walk; gold cart transport service is available if you prefer.
