"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. I don't like being taken advantage of and I think everyone who checks in here is. If it's a legit fee why not have it in your booking or forewarn of it in the listing? As for the room it was big and air conditioned. The water in the sink and shower is salty due to it being right on the beach. And the toilet...

"While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again."
