"We stayed 3 nights with our 10 yr old. We really enjoyed our stay. There are not a lot of recent reviews for this location and some things seem to have been updated. 1) This is an apartment and not a hotel. It has a kitchen and washer/dryer available for use (both of which were very helpful). There is a 2nd bedroom that is locked off and used by the owner's adult son during the day. However, we only saw him once and this was not an issue for us as our bedroom and private bathroom had a lock for...

"What a wonderful stay! The hosts were so welcoming, making you feel like a guest in their home. My room was lovely and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. I visited at Christmastime, and there were even a couple of decorations in the room. Breakfast was fantastic. If you are staying upstairs, the stairs are very narrow and steep, which made me a bit nervous with a big suitcase, but the kind host helped me carry my suitcase up and bring it back down. "Amazing location - convenient to most everything. This was my first time staying in this part of Amsterdam and I can recommend Amsterdam4holiday as a comfortable place to return to during a business trip or a great central hub if you are wanting to tour this great city. The host is friendly and helpful. I was traveling solo this time for a five day business trip and felt quite safe. Highly recommend. I'd stay here again."

Everyone who worked there were nice and even gave us a tour to the office space. It was a bit far out from other places, but it was a nice walk next to the zoo. I would stay here again. "

"Excellent location. Sumptuous breakfast. Helpful staff. Nice rooms. Lots of amenities. All of which one would expect for the price. Didn’t like that a large group tour was allowed to monopolize public areas of hotel to the inconvenience of other guests."
