"I did not like the fact that I arrived after 12 and asked if there was a room available (already cleaned) and I was told that I had to pay an extra 11 Euro per hour if I wanted to check in before 2 P.M. ( check in time). With the same logic I should have been reimbursed for leaving before check out time that is 12 . What was not acceptable was that the room has the bathroom that is part of the room, separated only by a glass wall and glass door that does not keep out the smell and the noises. So the rooms are basically for one person or a parent and a child , not really for 2 people. Even if they advertise that they have double rooms ( 2 single beds) they do not have them. Those 2 single beds you cannot really separate from each other also because the night light is fixed on the wall above your head. I liked the breakfast buffet and the kindness of the staff, that's why they get an extra star. ."

"It was a great place. Very good breakfast. The rooms are small and there is no refrigerator. I loved the city and the hotel is located within mall so goos for shopping and eating ."

"This is a nice hotel right across from the arena. Room are a good size and washroom has separate shower and toilet areas. Our reason for 4 stars is that you had to do self check in and the young staff were not very helpful. We had to keep asking for help because the information was in Dutch and we felt like we were putting them out. You think they’d have stayed with us until we were done."

"I have never had so many issues at a property and could have overlooked it but first no one ever answers the reception when needed. At checkin I asked about dinner and was told that the restaurant opens at 9:30 pm and the bar at 11:00 pm. I said this is really late to go to dinner. Then I had some questions later to see if this was correct among other things and no one picks up at reception. The rooms are not easy to get to and the elevators are slow so going back and forth is not convenient. Also when leaving I asked for a taxi to another hotel and was ordered a car service at twice the price of which I was not quoted. I specifically stated I do not need a service just a regular taxi, which the service cost twice as much as a regular taxi. When I called to complain, again no one picks up. If there is ever an emergency in this vast tower property, it is a potential liability for management. The Holiday Inn Towers did pickup each time and stated they would have quoted the price before ordering the car and offered options. Each time the Towers property would contact the Express for me. I do not recommend this property despite convenience for concerts and its proximity to the financial district. All in all a very frustrating 24 hours of stay."

"This is an excellent hotel for attending shows at the Johan Cruiff Arena, which is just 10 minutes walk. It's a 30 minute direct bus ride from the airport, and getting into the city centre is easy on the Metro. Hotel itself is very clean - rooms are well appointed with a comfortable bed, an excellent shower and very fast wifi, and I slept extremely well. Breakfast was very good (except for the usual awful hotel toaster which barely warms the bread!) and every member of staff I met was very pleasant. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here if I was visiting for a city break as there are better located hotels, but for the concerts I was attending this was perfect."

"Second time staying here. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Convenient location for gigs at either arena or the stadium. Breakfast is good, though I was disappointed they've removed the waffle maker."

"The stay was relatively nice but for my two night stay, my bathtub was not cleaned after our first night. I let the front desk staff know at checkout and their response was just "Okay." no apology or request for how they could compensate me for the inconvenience. The pictures for the spa on the website showed people in robes, but no robes are provided, neither were towels. I think the expectation was that we use the towels from our room. The staff were quite friendly at check-in."
