"The air conditioning in our room was not working when we arrived. It was a hot day, and our room faced west, so it was fully sunny and hot in the room when we entered. We called the front desk about it, and we were told maintenance would be up to look at it. After about half an hour and no maintenance, we called again. This time we were told there was an issue building-wide and it was being addressed and they brought us a fan. We decided to go to dinner and hopefully things would be fixed by the time we returned. It was not. My husband, getting hot and cranky, starts looking deeply at online reviews of the hotel. Turns out there is a long documented history of hotel guests reporting air conditioning issues in the old tower - the deluxe rooms. No reported issues with the newer tower - the executive rooms. We called and asked to be moved to the new tower, and they were willing and helpful in accommodating us. So, if you really like your AC, be mindful!"
