"Hotel Laxa is located by lake myvatn, a little further away from all the farmhouses which puts in a quiet location with views all round of Myvatn and still convenient. The staff at hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. They have a nice bar with quiet places for work and a game room as well.
I stayed for 3 nights and loved it, and would highly recommend."

"Room was decent sized.
Bathroom was bigger than Hotel Varmaland, Godafoss and ODDSSON Midtown.
Breakfast was very good - lots of options.
Dinner at restaurant was very good (so me starters were very very good).
Bar and bar tenders were very good.
It had a gas/petrol pump station - hugely convenient.
Adequate parking unlike ODDSSON midtown.
Super convenient to hit spots around the Myvatn loop."

"Bathroom was small and cramped. No way to contain shower water from spreading. Bathroom vanity sink was super small.
But location was terrific - right opposite the waterfall,"

"The highlight of my stay was the hotel's breathtaking view, especially from the dining area. Watching the sun set over Lake Mývatn was truly unforgettable.
The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, making for a very comfortable stay."
