"We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance to the Key Bank Arena. We were in Buffalo for the Journey Concert and it was so easy to walk to and from the hotel. The hotel itself was okay - strange entrance into the building which also housed other businesses and we had to lug our suitcases down the stairs to get to the check-in desk (from the parking lot). Very plain hotel, sterile. Check-in staff was great."

"This hotel is pretty good. Room was clean, if uninspiring. Staff were friendly and quick. For the price it would be nice to have waters, coffee in the morning, and breakfast included. Nickel and diming us for water and coffee is nuts."

"This historic property is filled with art deco touches. The bed was comfortable, shower pressure good, soft towels. We were disappointed that there is no on site food option, particularly for breakfast."

"The things I really liked about this hotel were that it was clean without smelling of industrial fragrance, it was quiet when we were trying to sleep, and it was conveniently located near the highway. I am very sensitive to air fresheners and scented cleaners, and this hotel was comfortably clean and neutral smelling. "Good location, pretty basic accommodations. We just needed a place to stay for an overnight. Dated, no amenities, but totally fine for what we needed."

"This place would not be to everyone's taste. It is not a regular corporate-type hotel and it looks a bit sketchy from the outside. A neighboring building is boarded up. The upstairs is a maze of tiny rooms. Shower down the hall. But the staff are friendly and helpful. It's in an interesting neighborhood one block from busy Delaware Ave and set among wonderful old mansions. My room was tiny but comfortable and quiet. If I return to Buffalo I will certainly stay here again."
