We had a lovely oceanside stay here. The hotel has a quiet, charming, homey feel. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. I only wish the breakfast would be served a bit earlier than 8 am.

The First Colony Inn
Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with ...

Shutters on the Banks
This was a fabulous place to stay in the outer banks! We loved the beach access, amazing view, indoor and outdoor pool, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful too! We will definitely be back. I don’t think you can beat the amazing location!!
