"I was in Franklin for just one evening and had booked at the Franklin Terrace Bed and Breakfast. I had not noticed that I was not on the first floor and since I have issues with stairs I mentioned this to Paul. There weren't any rooms on the first floor so he offered to give me a refund if I wanted to go somewhere else. I decided it would be ok for one night if I just used my backpack and left my suitcase in the car but Paul figured out a solution in a larger cottage room that I could use and not have any stairs and he didn't charge me for the extra cost. There were a lot of things going on at the place when I arrived, the AC was being fixed, a window had been broken in one of the rooms and Paul was dealing with that besides finding me the perfect room. Breakfast was delicious and during that time Paul told us about the history of this B&B. Paul definitely made the stay welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed."

"It’s everything you imagined. When you leave and have a serious discussions with your spouse about having your own adult treehouse, you know this place was worth every penny. The option to park my car away from tree debris and weather was a major plus. My only issue was the lack of a kitchen sink. We did most of our cooking and had to use the bathroom sink to clean our dishes. Just grab paper plates and plastic utensils before you arrive and you’re good to go."

"This place is fairly new, it has more than what expected (dishes, soap, detergent, trash bags, refrigerator, microwave, paper towels, kitchen rags, dish washer and even a small stove. It is a modern small house in the woods. :) I loved the location because it is close to all the outdoors activities available and its walking distance from the Nantahala river. It is very quite and secured and worth the money we paid. Unfortunately, I had to lower to 4 Stars because there was no communication from any host or staff, we had to call to check in and find the way to access the facility because no one communicated to us what was the process, we had to wash the towels because we didnt know where to get more, I suggest to management to please add some type of shelf or hooks in the bathroom, The shower doesn't have any reliable hooks or spaces to hold scrubs, shampoo bottles or soap, and also the bathroom sinks have very small counters, leaving us with not much space to place miscellaneous. In the positive side this place was spotless EXTREMELY clean, and that was what stood out the most! Overall the place offers what we wanted, a peaceful and convenient stay. I already told my friends to check it out. :) "

"Beds were in bad shape and squeaked. Not very clean, found a spiderweb and bug by air conditioner. Sliding bathroom door on the inside appeared to have never been cleaned. Weird shower. Stain on carpet. Breakfast was sad. Place was quiet. Staff was great."
