It's a walking distance to castel nuovo, palazo reale and galleria Umberto I, caffe Gambrinus and multiple dining options in that area. It's 50 yards from metro Universita, on line 1 which can connect you everywhere i.e. Dante station to Spaccanapoli, Duomo, museo to get to museums etc. Area is very safe.
Was conveniently located in the heart of the city. Building was nice and safe. Host was so helpful and recommended a lot of activities and sites to see. She was super accommodating and even ordered us a taxi our last day. Thank you!
Very clean with a small amount of mold in shower, location is great , everything we needed before getting on cruise ship. Walked to dock with our bags. Staff very responsive and helpful.
Excellent location, just a short walk to the port and Main Street, this was perfect for our 1 night stay in Naples. The staff was very nice as well and very responsive.
Great location, central to everything, Metro line right outside the door. Lots of places to eat close by and a great gelato/bakery in the same building. Only drawback is the mattress was uncomfortable and needed replacing, but besides that the room was very nice, with a great shower. The owner was very nice and had great communication. 9/10 for us, but that’s only because of the mattress if that gets replaced 10/10!
Nice and clean place and near tube station which is one stop from Centrale station which is Centrale main train station . Also walking distance to port to catch ferry to go Amalfi coast, or any other islands like Ischia, Procida, and Capri
The apartment was really nice, safe and secure in a great location to see the city, definitely recommend staying there if you are staying in Naples! The management was also very helpful and provided a nice welcoming and gave great information about the city.
A great location for doing everything in Naples from long walks around town to catching tours to Pompei ( a 15 minute walk to train station pickup). Rooms are clean and quiet from road noise.
Great location - walkable to port and many transportation options. Airport was close. Donna was responsive and offered great suggestions. I enjoyed the spacious, clean room. There was also a kitchen to make my own food. I enjoyed my stay!
Good: Room was large, clean, and in a good location. Easy to access the subway and the port. Hostess was accessible via what’s app for questions.
Bad: Room was not as pictured, bedding was serviceable, but not as described. There is NO soundproofing; everything in the common area could be heard in the bedrooms, and I’m sure vice versa. The hostess asked the same questions more than 5 times despite having the answers. It was frustrating.
Overall, it’s a great location, but not worth the price.
Overall, great stay and great host! The only downside to our room was the noise. We could hear everything happening outside of our door and everything from the room next to us. Noise cancellation was non-existent and we were woken up with loud door slams and very chatty people, which was obviously annoying but we looked past it. The room itself was great and so was our host! She let us leave our bags after checking out. We had a later flight and wanted to spend more time around the city and our bags were securely retrieved when we finally left.
This property is a type of B&B however we did not partake in the breakfast part. Communication with the owner was excellent. It was conveniently located near the Port of Naples making access to ferries easy however it was just far enough away from the train station to require transportation by taxi which was relatively expensive given the distance. The room was clean, modern and nicely appointed. Upon our arrival at the train station we walked into the middle of a Palestian protest which caused traffic kaos beyond the normal kaotic nature of traffic in Italy. We did not see areas of Naples outside the port area however we did note that the port area seemed to be relatively dirty with trash on the streets and garbage recepticles frequently overflowing. Access to points of interest like Pompeii and Capri were convenient by bus or ferry.
Titti was the best host! The accommodations were excellent and the location was great! It is close to the Metro and the port, and anything else you might want to see. Only thing is that the city is crawling with pickpockets that want to pick your pockets, which isn't a knock on the property but the city of Napoli itself. FIVE stars for Dona Lena Relais!!! Negative stars for Maradonaville, I mean Napoli. But STAY HERE if you must subjugate yourself to this city.
Donna Lena was an excellent host. I had missed my tour guide bus for Almalfi and was heading back to the room to pick up my luggage and I had texted her about the situation. She encouraged me to make different plans and head to the ferry dock to catch a boat to Almalfi Cost. Which I listened to and was grateful of her advice. Thank you Donna!!!
Perfect location in Naples, you reach the main sights by foot in just 20 minutes (also from the train station). This is an area with lot’s of trafficbut the room we stayed in eas towards the court so very quiet. The sound from the breakfast area is a bit loud. The room itself is spacious and well maintained. I lack some more lamps not just the one in the ceiling but thats more on a personal view. More hangers in the bathroom would be good. We never met the owner but she gave good service and advice about restaurants etc via messages.
