"The staff here are amazing and making the most out of what they’re working with by keeping it clean, friendly, and fun. Of course the place is a bit run down, but charming. The staff make up for it by going above and beyond. The location is great too. Having stayed at “the other inn” last year In Sackville, there is no comparison - if you can’t stay at the Coastal, keep going to Amherst or stay in Moncton. Trust me."

"Sign by dining room listed its hours of operation for all 3 daily meals, but when we came by for dinner well within the listed time frame, there was literally nobody around anywhere. There was no indication that it might only be certain days or by reservation only, in fact it's listed as a full public restaurant on their website, with public menu visible, we'd even planned what we wanted to order. And it was a Friday night, so even if they were only open some days, surely they'd be open for dinner Fridays! Staff was friendly but scattered. Room was small but comfortable. The beautiful antique styles of the main house are far less so in the carriage house so that was a little disappointing. The toilet in our bathroom was huge and ancient and was constantly running until I fixed it myself. Price was very reasonable. Be aware - there's a train that runs nearby and the whistle is very noisy. This is not the fault of the owners of course, but something to be aware of for light sleepers. "
