"The room was new, clean and bright and comfortable. Had fridge and microwave which was hand. Bathroom was like brand new and very spacious. We had an accessible room. The part we were in I think was recently built. Only problem was accessible to the front door. If you were in a wheelchair or couldn’t step up, you wouldn’t get into the room. Other than that, beds were comfortable and I’d stay there again if needed."

"This is a gem of a location. Margaret is a delightful host with a tremendously interesting backstory. The house is beautiful and includes all original wood which is stunningly finished. Our first night we were in a small room that didn't have air conditioning, but on the second night they moved us to a larger, air conditioned room at no additional cost. Breakfast each morning was freshly made croissants and scrambled eggs, as well as fruit and yogurt. We ate at a common table and had great conversations with our fellow travelers and Margaret. Location at Mahone Bay is beautiful in itself, is walking distance from several restaurants and a very nice pub, and a short drive to Lunenburg. Margaret is wonderfully welcoming - you have the run of the house and she even turned the TV to the World Cup game for us. It's like staying with old friends. I can't recommend this more thoroughly."

"We stayed in room one which is a grossness room. It is very spacious with a full kitchen and two queen beds. Lovely sitting area with beautiful views of the bay. Had sofas and chairs, a dining table, etc. The place is dated however it is clean. It was very quiet. Bedroom are OK and we had a good night sleep. We did not eat there except for using the deck and balcony overlooking the bay, which was lovely and had umbrellas for shade.Pricey for what you get however everything there is pricey."
