"Had a comfortable and luxurious stay here for our first three nights in Sri Lanka. Travelled in June which is off season / monsoonal however we barely saw any rain - sunbaked by the pool most days and was very relaxing to travel in the quiet season - at times had the whole pool and grounds to ourself. ..."

I can't really comment on Negombo as we arrived in the middle of the night and left for a trip north almost as soon as we woke up. It was quite a busy place on the outskirts of Colombo, but the hotel's situation on the edge of the lagoon was lovely

We went on a boat trip in the local canal and river, which was lovely. Jetwing organised it which also meant it was completely hassle free and there was not even an opportunity for tips.

Didn’t really see much of Negombo as it was only a lay over but what we did see was lovely. Few shops and restaurants outside the complex and a lovely beach walk with locals enjoying the weekend.
