Birthday getaway

Beautiful property with a nice beach that is quiet and away from the crowd but a close enough walk. Customer service could be improved. Hotel is fairly basic but met our needs. Great cook to order breakfast for purchase at the restaurant - not too pricey. Would stay again. Beautiful sunset from the beach.

Coral Seas deceived me. Photos online show a modest hotel with amenities. Being on the beach was very important to me and photos show the beautiful beach. The room I stayed in needed updating badly. There was mismatched furniture and only one mirror, on the bathroom wall, no full length mirror. No safe, no hangers, no TV remote. The worst part was there were stains on the bed sheets! I requested them changed and was told there were no more. Needless to say I didn't sleep on them.The following day the maid came and still same sheets. I complained again and she gave me the sheets to change because her shift was over. Totally unacceptable! This was the double room I stayed in. I had friends staying next door same room except clean sheets. The staff was friendly and pleasant. I gave 2 star rating for the beach and surrounding area and for the kind staff. I did get a glance into the suite it was totally updated. Coral Seas needs a makeover for all the rooms! I would not book there again.

As most of the reviews state, this property is very very basic. There are no bells and whistles. It's pretty much just putting a roof over your head. If you are planning to stay here be sure to pack yourself a bath towel washcloth and a beach towel, as they very well may not be available to you. The restaurant and the bar was good. The beach was amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, that along with the affordable rates will be what brings me back. This place is very outdated, so if you are looking for luxury look elsewhere. This is at best a 2.5/3 star hotel ✨. At least I know what to pack to make my stay more enjoyable next time around. Which will be my own bed/bath linen and cleaning supplies. Be sure to stop at the market to pick up water and snacks and don't forget the alcohol!! So remember if you're looking for affordable rates in a clean safe friendly environment this is your place. Oh yeah and the taxis are always at your service to take you anywhere you desire right at the front office (ask for Chuckie) he's at your service 24/7. Enjoy your stay and don't sweat the small stuff, after all you're in beautiful Jamaica!!!🇯🇲

For the first 4 days there were no beach towels, Everyday they would rash on on the regular bath towers and only give one towel per 2 persons per two days. On 3 of the days I ran out of toilet paper as they would clean the room, and say they ran out of paper and waiting for delivery. For one of the days there was no water at all throughout the resort. For two days we slept without pillowcases as they said they ran out. The duvet smelled like urine. They used the same mop water for cleaning all the rooms and they use the same mop water for the toilet bowl brush. The whole resort smelled like dirty mop for days, including our room. In the room we stayed at 906, the debris/mud from roof dripping on veranda when raining. We asked them to mop the veranda, but no one did. The balcony was full of No blow dryers available to use.

I felt safe and comfortable, and the location to beach and town was great. The room was spacious and clean. The beach restaurant/bar service was good. Kamesha was very pleasant. But the receptionists needed to be a bit more professional, housekeeping seemed short on towels and washcloths. The WiFi password was not available upon my arrival.

Run down, chipped tiles both inside & on porch. There was no internet access nor restaurant. No ice machines. Building had chipped paint on railing & rotted wood. Front desk staff not friendly nor helpful with getting luggage to the room which was up two flights of stairs. Did not explain how safe worked. Overall I would not return nor recommend.

Coral Seas Beach is Jamaica for me. If you want to snap your fingers and get exactly what you want immediately go to the all inclusive 5 star places. If you want to support the local economy and don't need everything to be perfect this is the place. Great people, clean rooms and a perfect quiet spot to enjoy the beach. A short walk to everything the seven mile beach offers but you can come back to peaceful rest. Settle into the soon come pace and smile.

Three stays over last six years. Very basic, clean room with a balcony, TV, A/C, WiFi. Thirty or so units. Not a lot of beach traffic; quiet after 8pm. Town is 1/4 mi away. Lots of variety of food within a short walk. Staff has been great.

The staff was very accommodating! It was clean, close to the beach, and the suites were adorable. Loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning. A sweet man named Roy sold delicious jerk chicken on the beach to the left. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Room was not fully prepared to receive guest. There was a smell as if the room had been locked up fpr days, there was brown cloudy liquid in the toilet, lizards and ants inside the room, patch marks on bath tub, brown staina on tub, sheets with small brown stains, and more. The pictures advertised seem to be for a room that was renovated as what was seen was very different.

To start, I could not find this property based off of the address provided. I called 3 times a received very vague directions to “just come down the road”. Our room had all kinds of wild life from lizards to ants and mosquitos. I did not feel comfortable walking around barefoot or showering due to the condition of the room. There was no security and seemed to be a lot of men hanging around the property the which was concerning as a mother with 2 daughters on vacation. I definitely would’ve been more uncomfortable if I was alone. There is no food, amenities in the room besides soap and the refrigerator and microwave did not work. Also, when asked about the pool we were once again given vague information and told it was at the other property somewhere up the road. I would’ve been more comfortable saving my money and sleeping in the car.
