"The room was clean ,tidy and quiet The only complaint ,if you can call it that was the lack of available power sockets in the room , apart from the tv there was just 2 other sockets which made things fairly tricky deciding which device gets charged ! Tv channels abit limited too but it was only for one night "

"Room was very dated. Holes in blackout curtains letting light in. Bathroom again dated. Water very slow filling bath, soap out of reach when in bath. Bath towels very soft and big. Tea tray in weird place in wardrobe. Bed very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovley with lots of choice and full English cooked to order. Had a nice overnight stay."

"On the outside the property looks very beautiful, and set in open beautiful countryside which is a major bonus, However you step inside and you notice the place is very old tired building, rooms were nice enough but needing more attention to cleaning the rooms, as both of our rooms hadn't been cleaned properly, Everything creaks groans and moans, and the noise thru the walls and floor boards from other guests moving around the building can be heard everywhere, upstairs down stairs next door, The hotel it's self isn't too bad, they do the best with the situation their dealt with and the staff are very nice friendly professional and helpful, Breakfast was alright, had better breakfasts in travel lodges days b4 staying here, Overall Rooms were nice but the showers had ran out of hot water, so cold shower in the morning Food, was fine just small portions, Staff were excellent, rooms just needed an extra 10.mins and a final check as their was hairs an dirt an bugs all over the bathroom and window ledges Stairs cases were old wonky and creaky , they were ok for us but some of the other guests very elderly an struggling with the old stair wells, as their is no lifts in the property 5 1/2 out or 10"

"11pm late check in staff left a key in a safe which was great but when we got to the room the door was actually ajar which is worrying when the rooms are accessed from outside and the car park is a car charging area with random people turning up all night. On the face of it clean and modern but very quickly you ca see the neglect. Bathroom very mouldy, broken internal window pane with sharp glass uncovered. The room was a first floor room accessed from a walkway to all the first floor rooms and yet the bathroom window is a velux window at head height without a blind or any coverage, so yes, people can genuinely see you in the shower. TV is turned on by one of 8 unmarked light switches in between the beds with no marking. Holes in the wall where fixtures used to be. Relatively low price point but not low enough that you’d expect this level of neglect. Positive that dogs are allowed but £15 charge despite all the flooring being laminate anyway so no extra cleaning required in my opinion. Also manky cigarette bin directly outside the door. "

"Well from the welcome to the last minute we could not fault this place. Location fantastic with great views of the River Dee. All the staff weee super friendly even the manager/owner! We checked in slightly early at 13:30pm, had a couple of drinks in the bar to then later on having evening meal all fab. Plenty of choice on the menu and delicious.. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The shower super powerful. Sockets either side of the bed as well. The breakfast was really good plenty of choices for all even gluten option. We would definitely recommend staying here for sure.👍 "
