"The Hotel is AH-MAZINGGGG! Everything is clean n proper! The ammenities are so good!
Checked with an infant & they provide us baby ammenities like baby tub towels & baby bath dried flowers to soothe our baby!!! Never have i ever got this from any high end hotel! Thank u sudima! Definately will return again! Their food menu is delicious too! & helpful staff!!!"
"Breakfast was fantastic. Location excellent.
Negative was I tried to get soy milk for the complimentary tea and coffee and they would have charged me but it should be complimentary. Not everyone can have dairy milk."
"Great location. We enjoyed terrific views from the 2 bed apartment on the top floor. Friendly staff, comfortable beds etc.
Would pay the extra and book an underground parking spot as tricky to find free street parking (also meant you were saved de-icing the car every morning!)
Our room got quite cold (perhaps too floor not well insulated?) which mean we had heaters running most of the time.
Living area for 2 bed apartment very small, and only a tiny couch that barely fit 2 people, so if you had 4 adults it would quite impractical.
Electric blankets on beds made it cozy for sleeping."
"Spur of the moment booking. Absolutely made the best choice! Location is a short and fairly easy walk to town. Slight hill but nothing too major.
Check in was amazing, we were so well looked after by the lovely lady at reception, top notch service. Room was huge! Had every heating amenity you could think of!
Beautiful view from the room. They have a spa that overlooks the lake and Remarkables that you can book at the front desk, ask for extra towels.
Only slight downsides, sink in bathroom took ages to drain, shower head and pressure just okay. King bed was two singles pushed together so not the most comfortable bed but wasn’t unbearable.
Parking was only $10 a night and you can pay by hour for extra time in the room up until midday.
Would definitely stay here again, would probably just get 2 singles or a room with 2 beds."
"This property is stunning and luxurious. Staff are awesome and friendly. The food was devine, we had the breakfast and tried the set menu for dinner. Get in early for your spa bookings. Stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my partners birthday, not somewhere that I’d normally stay due to cost but was so worth every penny."
"The view from our room was to die for. The hotel is elevated and so even though it’s only about a kilometre or two into town, it’s a bit of a trek down a steep icy road to get to the lake. The room said it had 2 double beds but they were actually 2 queen beds which was a nice surprise. The big let down about this restaurant were the breakfasts. As there are no cafes nearby, we thought we would eat at the hotel buffet for brekkie. Again, the views were to die for. Everything else was pretty poor. Every time we went to the buffet something was empty. There were no cups to get coffee and no glasses to get cold drinks. We mentioned something to the front desk and were told it was hard to get good staff. Actually, the staff were working non-stop, almost running to do everything that needed to be done. However, there was only one person on the floor and one person at check-in. We said we would give it a go the next day, but unfortunately it was even worse. The issue seems to be understaffing, not the staff themselves. Spending about $175 on breakfast over 2 days, we were sorely disappointed. I also mentioned on checkout that we had had a lovely stay but were sorely disappointed in the breakfasts. The lady just said, ok!"
"Parking is a real issue. There is a parking garage for the same cost as the outside parking, but it can be hard to see. The free on street parking is very limited. In addition, there was a wood burning fireplace that spread smoke smell throughout our entire building from basement to 2nd floor. It actually made our room hazy and irritated our throats. The smoke was an issue for all three nights. The hotel is also a solid 15 minute drive to downtown Queenstown."
