"It was not a 9 as the ratings suggested. Okay but not that great"

"Staff was great. Had a balcony room. The light shown into the room the ENTIRE night. When asking staff how to turn off the light, they said they couldn’t. Super nice man, offered us “clear tape” to try to secure the curtain to the wall to help dampen the light. The property isn’t really super clean and restored for the price. No sheets or blankets for the pull out couch. Which was needed, and I called ahead for, yet still didn’t have. The bathroom was so so. Older, with the sink outside the...

"Air conditioning worked well. Seemed like a safe property. Helpful staff. Large, clean room."

"The biggest issue we faced was that their one elevator was out when we arrived. They did offer to refund the reservation as they could not get us a room lower than the third floor and we had huge suitcases. But it was late and we didn’t know is we could get in the one hotel that was close by. If it had not been for this we would have rated our stay much higher. The room and hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was above average and the fitness room was great."

When we got there Friday evening it was very easy to check in, finding your room is a little confusing because you cannot see the room numbers due to the balcony we were on the second floor, seem like there was more people that was not staying at the hotel parking in the hotel space, leaving very limited parking for hotel guest or hotel guest didn't have their parking pass in window. "We booked a suite for our trip. 4 kids 2 adults. The room was great and accommodating. The kids wore themselves out cooling down in the pool for a night swim. The location was great. Not too far from anything. We enjoyed sitting out in the patio listening to the river. The staff were very accommodating and friendly when we needed something. We did see 1 bear in the parking lot but he left shortly after and we just watching him prowl around from the safety of the top floor."

"I will start with the positives, the property is close to the strip and there is a shuttle stop right outside, which makes it easier to get to the strip and any other stops within Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area. Now the negatives, the manager on duty (who is usually there in the morning), is very rude and not helpful at all. Being in hospitality, she does not have a basic courtesy to take to someone who is a retiree and an aged person. Don’t try to even ask them for a different room, because...

"Incredibly clean, new and modern hotel. Had an issue with the outlets not working in the room, front desk attendant said he would send someone up to fix it, 8+ hours later found out that he didnt let anyone know so i had waited for"
