"Stunningly beautiful building. Room was tiny but clean. Shower was hot, some mould in places on walls/ceilings. Abandoned fridge freezer visible right outside the window which wasn't great. Good location and easy walk into Milton to some great restaurants, and to Hurst Castle. Value for money was good only because we'd had a discounted rate through Hotels.com if we'd paid full price then probably wouldn't have been such good value. Breakfast was really poor. Overcooked, dried food, no butter on the table, and majority of items were gone by 9am (breakfast is 8-10) and weren't replenished. Service was OK ( a couple of people were great, a couple not so good!). Felt more like a Wetherspoons which is a real shame as the building itself is lovely and location fabulous."

"Lovely lodge! Clean and well presented. Rather short on a few items though. No egg cups. No chopping boards. I could have done with a small brush and shovel in order to leave the lodge a bit cleaner. Apart from that it was a beautiful lodge and very spacious. We had a lovely few days."

"Returning family. Lovely stay again but a few changes since last November when we last stayed. Room was clean and beds comfy. Limited menu selection in the conservatory restaurant. Overall we had a nice time again."

"We loved this hotel, the staff were so excellent, very helpful and friendly, they really couldn’t do enough for you! We had dinner here and I must say it’s probably the best meal I’ve had In ages! The hotel was very comfortable and cosy and the decor is delightful, there’s lots of little extras which add to how well thought out the hotel is, eg. Dog and boot cleaning area, treats, a selection of games. Our room was huge and the coordination of soft furnishings make the room feel expensive and very well decorated, it was clean, and the bathroom looked newly decorated, it’s a pet friendly hotel the room did smell a big doggie but we wasn’t too bothered, it was clean, The setting in the new forest in Autumn was stunning the walk into town was so pretty and we saw lots of ponies and pigs , we walked to Burley town in 10 mins and enjoyed a horse and cart ride. This hotel has a fantastic team and whoever runs it has style and great attention to detail!! We felt so welcomed thank you"

"Room was fine. A little stuffy and noise from the plant room opposite. Parking ok, could benefit from more lighting. Food fine. Bar staff friendly. Reception team fine too. Breakfast ok. Coffee good. Easy access to Burley. Nice to connect with nature and get outside. Loved watching the pannage pigs and deer."
Woodlands Lodge Hotel

"This venue after a terrible night in another hotel located in Bournemouth is just what we needed. The staff were so friendly when we came in and the room and atmosphere is amazing! We were not disappointed, the bar is well equipped and the espresso martinis after a long day were delicious. We loved being here so much that we have booked again in a few weeks! Located within the new forest, it is lovely and quiet 😁 thank you!"

"The room was spacious and tea/coffe facilities v.good. Bed was comfy, storage adequate. The pub is very nice. The breakfast was good, cooked to order with plenty of choices. The staff were very good. We would recommend this place."
