Superb location and grounds and staff very responsive and helpful . Room we stayed in was of a high standard and very comfortable. Breakfast was taken in the impressive main building. One issue that recurred on a few mornings was the slow replenishment of Drinks and food at the buffet area , This happened during higher throughput of people and subsequently some waiting around, Simple Logistic planning would resolve.

This was one of the most enjoyable stays I’ve experienced in recent years. The area of Brockenhurst is stunning and I’m very glad Rhinefield House Hotel was my base to explore it. The grounds were gorgeous and the staff were extremely conscientious and made the atmosphere. The breakfast made the perfect start to the day and I’d definitely visit again.

A fairly high class hotel with a lot of staff. Some slight signs of wear in the bathroom but it was large like the bedroom, with a comfy bed. AC was a little unreliable, switching off when it wanted or freezing the room at times. Worst experience was on the Sunday when one whole corridor of rooms had what must have been an explosion of raw sewage. The maintenance staff worked hard but the stench of raw sewage going to your own room or the lounge bar was overpowering. Same on Monday, although not quite as strong. Nothing said by staff, even when I mentioned it at check out.

This was generally a lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location with large formal English gardens. But there are certain things that could’ve been better. 1) The aircon wasn’t working in the room we were initially given. I understand this is quite a common problem. Staff were very accommodating and offered us a new room for the next day, but the first night we had to sleep with fans. The next room was better, but aircon still not great. I’d suggest for a 4 star hotel that they prioritise sorting this out. Otherwise they will get an increasing number of complaints. 2) There aren’t enough loungers around the pool. This is easy to resolve and will greatly improve the experience if they add more. Otherwise this is a lovely hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. I raise these points as they are helpful for other people and for management to resolve key things.
