Very convenient for my purpose, hospital. Modest but clean and comfortable.Missed little things like an extra pillow, a laundry bag and cups or glasses of some sort. Overall I would return again.

Clean and affordable, this is a great value option for bargain hunters. Could use a little more in the way of amenities, such as an iron & ironing board, drinking cups in the room, extra blanket, etc. But overall, excellent value and I would stay here again. (This was actually my second visit).

Tara Inn is better than it looks and check-in was hassle-free, though different from what was in the listing. The listing information said there was no front desk but there IS a front desk right through the double doors you see in the picture. The rooms themselves are located in two separate buildings, strip-style, alongside the main building. My room was clean and totally functional. I was advised at check-in that there was no coffee in the rooms due to COVID, but I could take a cup with me from the stack near the front desk. I should have, because there were no cups in the room. Despite COVID, other motels where I have stayed recently still had cups (wrapped in plastic) in the rooms, and this would have been nice, just to be able to draw a cup of water from the bathroom tap. Nonetheless, my stay was entirely enjoyable (other than the man in the room next door smoking outside on the walkway and the wind being just the right direction to blow it into my room). I have to return to New Glasgow in two weeks and have already booked Tara Inn for a second stay, so I think that says it all. Good value, too.

Awesome

The hotel desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. She even changed our room as she wasn't happy with the room we were assigned. The location is good with quick access to a large gro ery store, mall and even a movie theater

Great value! Close to amenities and major Hwy. Toilet was the lower toilet and bothers my back. This motel offers picnic benches, chairs and bbq for your pleasure. The highlight was seeing deer and their young walking through the grassland in back of motel.

While the staff were friendly and accommodating and the facilities were satisfactory, the wifi was not strong and the tv didn’t work. In the big scheme of things, these are not huge problems. But for the price I paid, I’d have been happier with slightly better conditions. In the end, I know I paid for the convenience of being close to the hospital so I could visit a member of the family as she prepared for and subsequently underwent surgery at Aberdeen. So all in all, I think “ok” is fair.

I've staying the upper buildings several time (Deluxe suite). This time, I did not pay for the upgrade (only $15) which was my own fault. The standard room is a bit more dated and bathroom needs upgrading but it was clean and quiet.

Horrible expierience!!

We found this place on hotels .com last night and i must say do not stay here.There is mold growing in shower and the first place i ever stayed that i couldnt get a shower.The tv didnt work and the remote was untouchable and so sticky it didnt feel like it was cleaned in years.Plus hotels.com charged and booked me for a deluxe room in which i apparantly got a standard.DO NOTSTAY HERE.

This place was perfect for our quick stay. The staff was friendly during check-in and the process was very seamless. The room was clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the laminate flooring as I find carpet to be very unappealing.
