"Not sure if you will like it or not but..... We stayed on the 20th floor and took one elevator to the 18th and got off and into another elevator to go to the 20th floor."

"Hotel Mazarin is a NOLA gem inside of the French Quarter. It was resonably priced, even for the Jazz Fest 2nd weekend. The location is perfect for walking to everywhere; one street off of Bourbon and only a few blocks from Jackson Square or Canal Street. There are so many shopping venues, bars and restauarants all within walking distance. The hotel has a lovely inside courtyard where you can relax, meet with friends or pop in to the wine bar for a quick drink. Even though this is an older hotel, the rooms were nicely updated with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. It has a work out room that is functional. There is no onsite parking so valet is a must. It was only a few blocks to the buses and cable cars, so no need to have the car out for anything during the stay. This was the perfect hotel for an authentic NOLA weekend, and we would defintiely stay again. "

"Front desk staff at check in was awesome. Housekeeping was efficient and unobtrusive. The view from my room facing the riverfront was relaxing."
