When we got there to check in, they told us there was a wait and we had to be put on the guest list and they advised us not to check in because some people have been waiting to check in since 10 AM and we got there at six and she had no idea when a room would be available so we actually never stayed here and we had to look for another hotel. Common courtesy would be to call the Gas and say not to show up because we don’t have any rooms available, but if you don’t have any rooms available then why except the booking

We were told we could check in a little earlier than 4pm since we came from out of town so we made it to the hotel at 3pm then told to come back at 4. Did that as well. We were not assigned a room until after 6:30pm the lobby was full of upset travelers! It was a horrible experience.

Only issue I had was the room not being ready for check in when it was time I had to wait about 2.5 hours for my room and be put on a waiting list even though I prepaid and booked back in August . Other than that my room was clean no bed bugs linens clean I liked the room I booked and the patio had a nice view . Housekeeping did stop by on more than one occasion and we got treated to the bar and breakfast so it wasn’t a terrible stay

I made reservations over a month ago I arrived around 3 pm at the property. We stayed in the properties waiting area for hours because They weren’t able to get us checked in until almost 7pm because they didn’t have any clean rooms is what they said which resulted in us missing an event we were suppose to attend. The event tickets were non refundable. Their lobby was packed full of people that couldn’t check in be cause they didn’t have the rooms ready, so many ppl were complaining. And there was really long stings of hair in our bed.

We arrived at 3pm. Check in was at 4pm. I paid for the room and left to go get food which took about 30 minutes. We arrived back at the hotel at 3:50 to wait to check in. We checked in and were put on a waiting list. We were told we would get a call when our room was ready-never got the call. The lobby was full of waiting list customers because they were no rooms ready. I had reservations at 6:30; I missed those. I kept going back to the desk checking on an update. We literally sat in the lobby 4 hours and 34 minutes before I went back the very last time to check on the status of the room.

There were balls of other people’s hair in the bathroom. We could not get staff to put soap in the shower. Maids never cleaned. Door on cabinet broken. It looks like the company bought an old apt building and enclosed the walkway. The pool was horrible. But the worst, the hotel wanted a $90.00 early check in fee. Of course, guess how long the check in line was when we could check in without a charge? The staff were great.

Check in was good. Front desk lady was very nice. Unfortunately, the first room was a double(booked a king) and the a/c wasn't working-77 degrees... Back to lobby where the nice lady promptly got us a different room. A/c was good but still a double. Back to the lobby where the nice lady gave us another and assured us it was a king. Up to the 9th floor and key didn't work. Back to lobby, guess that room you can't program a key but they had the one that worked. Ok, back up and yay!, it opened and all good, cold and a king. This was at 11pm after a 16 hour day of travel and layovers so finally good to sleep! Room was nice, bed comfortable, big TV's . Wish we could have arrived when we initially were supposed to but oh well, stuff happens. I had read reviews about a/c problems, just our luck I guess. Rooms are quite nice and recommend for that reason and the nice front desk lady resolving our issue eventually.

Here’s a refined version that still conveys your frustration: *"This was by far one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. They were severely understaffed, especially when it came to valet service. We had to leave our car unattended multiple times, and even had to park and retrieve it ourselves, yet they still charged us the full valet fee. I asked to speak with the manager several times and never got the chance. On top of that, I had to call the front desk multiple times just to get my room cleaned. Overall, a terrible experience!"* This version highlights the main issues clearly and could be helpful for a review or complaint.

I love the location of this property. This is my second time staying here. However, this last time, the service lacked a bit. My bath towels had sooo much lint on them that I had to get a damp towel to get it off. I requested new towels and didn’t get them. Had to request them twice. There was only one roll of toilet paper and they gave us a box of tissue that you blow your nose with to use as toilet paper. I was very disappointed! I won’t be staying here again.

I chose Embassy Suites for our 4-night stay because of the breakfast. We look for places that offer protein and not just Continental carbs. In that respect, it was great. All of the customer-facing staff members were friendly and helpful. I didn’t love that we had to request service for the room, but that wasn’t a big deal until I asked for toilet paper one evening. It never showed up. My husband went to the front desk and got a roll the next morning because we were down to the Kleenex box. When we 1st got to the room, balcony door was open, and the TV was on, which just felt weird. And we requested a refill for the empty conditioner bottle 3 times. The other frustrations were 1) the water taking forever to get hot. ( I took a cold shower the first morning because I got tired of waiting and felt bad about wasting so much water.) We were on the 12th floor, and it evidently just takes a long time for the hot water to make it up that high. 2) The super-loud condenser on the AC. The rooms were plenty cool, but the unit was loud enough that you couldn’t have it on and watch TV or be on a call in the living room. 3) The wall to the adjacent room was thin enough that we could hear entire movies and phone conversations. Would I stay here again? Maybe. Overall it is okay; the breakfast was good, and the staff were nice. But it’s frustrating to spend so much (plus $48/day for parking) for just okay. I don’t need super fancy, but toilet paper is pretty essential.
