"Breakfast was definitely a plus. There was a variety of items and limitless juice. The staff was very helpful and sweet. Overall, I gave the hotel an average rating because of the staff and the breakfast, but I had a bee infestation in my room. When I first called and asked for my room to be moved I was told they were booked and I had to stay, but they would send someone to clean them up. Someone came and killed them, but there were many more that materialized after they left. I called the front desk again and said I could not sleep there and then was told to hold and then was given another room. My new room was on the bottom floor on the street side. The curtains did not fit the window and I had trouble keeping them shut for privacy. My original room --with the bees--also was very dark because the windows were covered by "some type of greenery--not sure if it was real or fake" but the windows themselves looked out into an enclosed building with very little light and what seemed like no natural light."

The location right next to the French Quarter allowed us to walk almost everywhere we wanted to be and the trolley was also very close and available for farther distances. The staff was very helpful to all of our needs and went out of their way to get answers to questions for us, and to help us out as we planned our visit to New Orleans. "
