"Gorgeous boutique hotel with fantastic updates that also keep the charm and history of a French Quarter building. Beautifully decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is very close to Bourbon Street, so there is quite a bit of noise, especially at night. I sleep with earplugs anyway, but I know the hotel does offer them if needed. Courtyard is fantastic and has plenty of seating. Would definitely stay at The Celestine again when in the French Quarter."

"The property has only been operational for 2 weeks. When I arrived, I was informed that there was no parking in front of the hotel to unload our luggage. It was pouring rain. We had to find a random parking garage 2 blocks away and paid $150 for 4 fays of parking. We unloaded on the 5th floor of parking and made it through the pouring rain to the hotel once again. "This is an absolutely fantastic place to stay if you’d like to be a be away from the noise, but still close enough to walk the best haunts. The Peacock Room downstairs for cocktails is a must, as is Compere Lapin two doors down. The goat curry is outstanding. Hope you have a great trip!"

"This is a great option when staying in New Orleans! The rooms are spacious and renovated beautifully, the beds are very comfortable and there's a full kitchen as well! The rooftop pool was a great bonus. It's a very central location!"

"Beautiful hotel in a great location — it was easy to get anywhere in New Orleans on foot. The common spaces are especially lovely, with a stylish bar and a library/lounge area that give the hotel a lot of character and charm. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. We stayed on the top floor, and the room was very dark. The lighting was extremely poor, and after searching for a while we finally found a tiny wall lamp hidden near the door.
